Outstanding hospitality. This was our second occasion. We opted for location fully informed that there was no breakfast and we were a few miles from the nearest cluster of eating places so came prepared.
We slept beautifully in the peaceful rural location and comfy 4 poster bed. The room and en suite were top to bottom clean and we were treated to a top of the range coffee machine. So much quality. When the internet went down, we contacted Jules who was on his own as Ausra was visiting family. He couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful and took an interest in our well being with chat and banter on both check-in and check-out. Even the turkeys and peahens in the grounds were friendly and followed us around when we went for a walk. An altogether memorable and relaxing experience….again!

Loved that it had lovely views either end of the house, the village was lovely and only a 15 minute drive from Ennerdale Lake which was beautiful. The house was lovely- very clean, and had everything we needed- even Netflix and Disney+ etc. I went with my partner and we would definitely stay again!
