Everything was superb! Jane is very friendly and approachable and has good knowledge of the surrounding area. A very comfortable and good sized room, which was fully equipped with everything I needed and much more. Breakfast options were also excellent!

A very warm and genuine welcome from our hosts who were hospitable, helpful and informative. The facilities were smart, clean and comfortable - very efficient shower and a good supply of towels and toiletries. Breakfast was perfectly cooked, tasty and the service was excellent. Nice sized room, good dining and lounge area, nice breakfast, everything clean. We asked for the keys before the standard check in, which was granted. We were very appreciative of this, as we were attending an event. Friendly staff member upon arrival.
We were given a recommended taxi company, which arrived very quickly after we attended the Radio 2 event.

it is convenient for our purpose and comfortable and pleasant enough. Other than that the cottage is not that inspiring and I wouldn't discribe it as having a lovely atmosphere. There are some nice walks along the River Ribble a short drive away.

A lovely welcome from the friendly host of this beautiful barn conversion. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a view over fields and a good choice of breakfast items. We enjoyed an evening meal at Verdes (Italian restaurant in Eccleston village) followed by a walk down to the river and a peaceful night's sleep. Well located for our trips to both Rufford Old Hall (National Trust) and Southport. We wish we could have stayed longer and would certainly recommend a stay here for anyone visiting this area.
The location suited us as near to family and there are shops and places to eat in the village. The property is well maintained and the breakfast supplies are excellent. The room is very clean
Efficient check in by pleasant staff. There was a restaurant and gym in the building. The room was quiet and clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price of £40 per night it was very good value. Large TV, Wifi and coffee facilities were provided. There was plenty of parking. It was possible to access the village via a rear entrance so we were not limited to the services.
Both the room and adjoining bathroom were good.
The 'breakfast bar' was generally well provided.
Parr Hall Farm is very quiet and made it easy to relax.
Eccleston village has good provision for basic shopping and 'Bygone Times' is of course well-known and worth visiting.
Northbound off M6 good location but remember to swing hard left immediately off slip road otherwise it's a but tricky. Bed comfy, drinks in room OK, showers towels toiletries WC all OK, staff friendly and helpful, made you feel welcome.
TIP: When approaching southbound do not be tempted to try the back-door road access as it takes you thru small villages and roads and is a false economy. Better to stay on the M6 and turn around at the next junction (27?)
The ‘village’ of family rooms was unexpected, so much space, essentially a little house for the night. Can see this hotel has been absolutely amazing in it’s day. A lot of building works being done to bring it back. Very clean for such an old property, friendly, helpful staff.
