Carol is an exceptionally welcoming host, with a great sense of humour and the best cat, Smudge (who is a delightfully chonky boy). The room was spacious and very clean, with the most beautiful view of Kinder Scout. We made full use of the tea making facilities in the bedroom, which were well stocked with different teas, coffee and fresh milk from the fridge in the passage. My partner and I both had the full English breakfast, which was honestly the best I've ever had!! heaps of delicious mushrooms, tasty sausages, bacon, eggs, tomato, hash browns and black pudding, baked beans and my favourite thing.. fried bread! What a treat! We will absolutely stay again. THANK YOU!!

The old inn is lovely, really enjoyed having a drink here and dinner on both evenings.
We also went to Machester for the day on the train as there is a station in the village.
Quiet location, fully equipped Apartment with very comfortable beds.
Host very informative with my few queries prior to arrival, prompt to respond, thank you.
Walked to recommended restaurant 👌🏻 and village walking distance too.
Located in a small estate very quiet and handy for the centre of the village and the surrounding High Peak. The property is small but well equipped and spotlessly clean. The village has at least one excellent pub and a very good Indian restaurant.
A warm welcome awaits you at Naze Farm. The cottage is pretty much perfect, so much effort has been poured into the accommodation. Enjoy the farm and the surrounding countryside. Just a short walk to the village is a great pub and local amenities.
Joe allowed us in to the accommodation half hour earlier as we arrived early which was helpful as we had 4 young children. We didn’t realise that the accommodation is spread over three floors and the first stairs are particularly steep but fortunately they have a stair gate fitted, which made it secure. The location is in a beautiful village with all local amenities. There is everything we needed in the accommodation and overall was a pleasant stay.
Huge property in a lovely village with great views. The keys were easily collectable, the house was very clean, beds comfy and we had all the required utensils in the kitchen. We also had dogs with us during the stay and it was perfect for them, with a secure back garden and lots of room inside. There is everything you need just a short walk away (shops, pubs, takeaways). We booked this property as part of a Christmas present for a family weekend away and we have all loved it.
The location of the property is perfect for local walks, the village had a few decent pubs and local shops all within walking distance. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Woodlands barn is a wonderful holiday home located perfectly for exploring the hills of the High Peak.
