Great location for early start to east mids airport, Lovely couple who own the house , 15min walk into the village for Tea and a beer , Lovely Room and shower available.
Great location for Castle Donington and the race track, the apartment is spacious and great value. The bathroom was clean and tidy as was the bedroom and kitchen area. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook if you want to, but the proximity to the village centre makes walking to a restaurant just a 5 minute stroll.
I would stay again, no issues there. I liked the apartment, as did my wife, who was surprised by the space for the money we paid, I would stay here over a hotel in the area everytime.
Host was so accommodating! When we arrived we requested to stay and another night which she kindly arranged quickly and easily! Quirky apartment with everything you need! Great location, the village is lovely! Your a 2 min walk from a good few pubs, restaurants, cafes, spas, supermakets etc. 10/10 would stay again!
Really nice unique hotel, used to stay there before a flight from East Midlands. Situated in a beautiful village the staff were really friendly and I love a hotel with character as oppose to the standard chain hotels. Highly recommend.
Didn’t have breakfast. Right in the village so shops nearby and close to the airport. Friendly receptionist maybe a little too friendly addressing me as ‘ Angel ‘ and ‘ sweetie’ which is ok but inappropriate for some guests.
Very very clean. Even if it's an Airbnb-type set up and Gareth and Karen lives in the house full time (renting out a room for guests) the whole house was hotel standard clean. Great bathroom with a lovely shower (stayed in there a bit too long probably). Neighbourhood is quiet and residential, ten minutes walk into to the centre of the village for shops etc. I came for a work training nearby and it suited my needs perfectly.
Gareth and Karen are also very friendly and helped me find what I needed in the kitchen to prepare my dinner.
I was visiting family in the village so for me the location was excellent. It’s just a short walk into the main street with shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.
The apartment was spacious and had a reasonably well equipped kitchen. Despite being on a street it was quiet. It was cold outside but it was warm in the apartment.

Good value for a modern 2 bed apartment in the centre of the village. Comfy beds, power shower, decent kitchen/diner/living room. Nice to have an en suite. 3 minutes walk from Borough Street.
