We received the warmest welcome from Rowena, the general manager. It is rare to feel genuinely valued as a customer, but Rowena reversed that on this occasion. The hotel is in the rolling countryside, with a stately-style main building and many outbuildings. The interior decor is stylish, with the most impressive interior doors. Also, there is a cafe within the complex. We loved the lounge in our hotel area, including a piano and relaxing furniture.
Our superior room was impressive and great value for money. Breakfast was served at the exact time arranged the previous evening. There was a slight mishap in one part of the order, but nothing tainted the impressive stay overall.
I highly recommend The Lighthouse and would most definitely stay there again.

Rook Lane House is a large inviting property, full of history and comfort. I will be taking time to explore the history of this property. The house offers parking and a great location for Frome town centre for shopping , cafes, restaurants & bars. Our accommodation featured a very large room and bathroom a large comfy bed with quality bed linen & towels. Diana was a wonderful host! She’d made cake and bread for me when I arrived :) The setting is beautiful and the bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Everything had been thought through to the tiniest detail.
