We were running late for our dinner booking yet the staff happily accommodated us for when we finally arrived. I am so glad they did as our meals were excellent. Our river facing room was spacious, clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed and we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast the next morning.

No breakfast and having to go to another place to fetch key would mean we would not stay at the Townhouse again. It was also very hard to find. Eventually we found a tiny sign on the pavement pointing up an alley!!I we think because of this , although the room was excellent, the hotel is over priced and we would not stay there again
The Castle is situated in a quiet area, at the top of Bishops Castle, with spectacular views of the town. It offers 3 bars with log fires, a restaurant serving local produce, and beamed bedrooms.

Delightful location, comfortable room, very enjoyable meals and exceptionally efficient & polite staff. Went the extra mile to inform residents of local walks as well as other useful information about the area.
HOBLEY House Holiday, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Craven Arms, 23 km from Dolforwyn Castle, 27 km from Stokesay Castle, as well as 33 km from Wigmore Castle.
The cottage was of a high quality and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and it was very quiet for ease of going to sleep. Set in a beautiful and varied area with many interesting places to visit and the locals happy to have a "chin wag". It was very useful having the village playing field (quiet) next door to the cottage so that our dog could have a run around easily. We aim to return again!
This place is amazing and the blurb doesn't do it justice. A really posh outbuilding conversion with luxury everywhere. Great views, lovely hosts, stunning countryside and after the village traffic died down it was blissfully silent.
