Gorgeous B&B, you can tell a lot of work has been put into it. Sid was very welcoming upon our arrival as he showed us around. We loved the view from the room, and the room itself was very clean and spacious with lots of character! In the morning we were seated in the conservatory for breakfast overlooking the canal and the mountains, it was really beautiful! The breakfast was very delicious, too. Probably one of the top B&B's we've stayed in, and will likely visit again!

Very comfortable. Like being home. Having restaurant and bar is a great extra, only 10 minutes from Brecon. A quite rural village with two pubs . Local veg to purchases. Very caring landlady.
Very warm and friendly welcome. Room was very comfortable, clean, good facilities and spacious. Nice view of canal from window.
Good selection for breakfast. You were not left feeling hungry.
We came for a wedding so did not have a chance to fully explore the area but we were able to walk along the canal in the evening before wedding to a village for a meal in a lovely country pub.
We would certainly book again and use cottage as a base to explore the area. It's literally a short drive from Brecon town itself.
Excellent value for money
The staff were all very sweet, helpful and welcoming. The room was nice and cosy and the food in the restaurant was absolutely superb! You have to try the Kathmandu Chilli Chicken. The location in the village of Telgarth was beautiful.
This was an ideal spot for my husband and I to stay for a 2-day wedding we were attending nearby. A very warm welcome received upon check in and was able to access our room early. A small room but functional for all our needs. Tea and coffee making facilities a bonus. Lovely location in the village of Talgarth. The value for money for this property was a real stand out.
Beautiful setting, stunning conversion making excellent use of space to create a beautiful holiday home with Mountain Views. Well equipped and clean with a warm welcome, excellent communication and many thoughtful touches (such as a generous welcome pack of goodies, sensor triggered lights on stairs, emergency torch, lovely toiletries….. )
Location is out of the way in a quiet village with a pub next door - what more could you ask for???
The cottage is very spacious with 2 lounge rooms to use. Kitchen is well equipped although we did not cook as we eat at the Shoemakers Arms (Food is Excellent) next door if we were not out exploring. Bedrooms are clean with fresh linen & Towels. Jo the Host is on Hand if you need her. All in all a cottage to relax in!!
