It has everything you need
I have previously supped Hook Norton beer in the pub and harboured a desire to stay there. It didn’t disappoint. The building is full of character and set in the heart of a lovely village. The chance to visit the church should not be missed. The beer is still excellent, dinner was good and breakfast excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive without exception.
Charming old English village pub and hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds, superb location, amazing food, very comfortable and well appointed room, fast WiFi. The staff are absolutely amazing, so welcoming and friendly. I needed a late checkout due to circumstances beyond my control and they accommodated my request without hesitation. When my car key fob battery expired unexpectedly they even helped me replace the battery in it. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot thank them enough.
Great location, close to many lovely villages and attractions. Lovely village with a shop and great pub nearby. Less than a minute walk down a path from the main road to the property so please don’t let this sway your choice. The cottage itself is fantastic. Beautifully decorated and presented. Lots of little touches that really make the difference. The hot tub is an excellent feature with shelter. Overall, could not fault The Little Forge, we cannot recommend it enough and will certainly be returning in the future.
A very sweet little cottage. Comfortable. We would have liked some milk to make a cup of tea on arrival. The shower pressure was low. We enjoyed our stay, the village was so quiet and the farm shop was well stocked . The meal in the pub was delicious. A very good location.
