Bisley is a wonderful little village and the Bear Inn is a lovely little hub. The room was nice and comfortable. There was a car park across the road. The meal proportions are large and a good choice of options in the evening. Breakfast was very good. There is a great walk into the woods just outside the village.

Really excellent place. So glad we stumbled across this absolute gem of a bed and breakfatst. Super old building, built in the 1600s or so, fantastic history as it was the old courthouse for the village until 1720s when it was converted into an inn and was found to be so good it hasn't looked back for 300 years. Room was comfortable and well appointed, the bar was well-stocked and they stayed open just for us, even though we arrived late. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and the proprietor was just lovely. Highly recommend a visit!

The location was a deliberate choice for nostalgic reasons and to find a village pub being looked after so enthusiastically by a young couple was a bonus both for us and the whole village community. Being a 17th century building it could be argued that facilities were a bit limited but that would be a mean spirited remark as its historic and local character outshone that. In conclusion it was wonderful and a tremendously good example to us all

The staff were all great, especially Stefan Lou and Jake. Very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food at the Bear Inn was excellent. Evening meal was superb and the breakfast likewise. The room was a little on the small side but very clean and comfortable. Very pretty village setting and would highly recommend. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.
