Gayton Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Bickenhill

Situated in Hampton in Arden, 5.2 km from NEC Birmingham and 11 km from National Motorcycle Museum, Gayton Bed & Breakfast provides accommodation with amenities such as free WiFi and a flat-screen TV....

Very pleasant location. Close to a train station if you don't drive (I did). Hosts were very friendly. You are staying in a bedroom in their house to make that clear. Nice breakfast provided too. I was very lucky that I was the only guest for the 2 days so had free use of the one shared bathroom. My rating may have changed if the place was full and having to wait to use the bathroom. However it did offer value for money.

The room was excellent for the two of us, we loved the hotel. We were able to take the train for 100 miles from our village station to our hotel which was ideally close to Birmingham International train station and the airport.

Breakfast was great, but I was informed that bacon was not on the menu. The lady who provided the breakfast was friendly and efficient. The room itself was really comfortable and the bathroom on suite was sparkling. The facility was within walking distance of a lovely village and the surrounding are was great.

Location to the NEC, although not the fault of the owners, there were some road closures that extended the time to get to the B&B. Very good value, for 3 men attending the Bike show at the NEC needing 3 separate beds. Price includes good breakfast. Homely vibe. Parking on site. Short taxi ride from nearby village with good pub for the evening so did not need to drive. Uber cover the area too. Owner was lovely and helpful, runs a great business.

Located just off the M42 in the village of Bickenhill, literally a mile away from BHX airport, so perfect for us having a flight the following morning. Great communication and service from Camilla, the host. Being able to park our car whilst away was a bonus. Lovely room with drink making facilities, comfy beds, towels and toiletries provided too. The bathroom/wetroom was a little compact but modern and perfectly fine for our needs. The horses in the courtyard stables were gorgeous!
