The room was clean and spacious with chairs and a fridge. Only a limited number tv stations. Breakfast was fine with a lot of choice. Nice hotel for quiet stayf choice. Staff were friendly and helpful, though not there overnight. The location was okay for a quiet break though the local pubs don't serve meals and there was just a cafe and amusements nearby on the beach. Bus ride to town takes approx 15 minutes. Nice for quiet stay.

Robin (The Host) was extremely welcoming and cooked a lovely heart filling breakfast for the time of stay. Room was very cosy and had all the basic amenities aswell as a sink/mirror (which I thought was very useful, rather than using the bathroom everytime).
Both the toilet and bathroom were kept clean and were located right beside bedroom.

The Old School House is a lovely, quaint, and quirky place. Spotlessly clean, our hosts Gregory and Sarah-Jane made us feel at home straight away. My son and I had the family room, which was perfect for our needs. Set in a rural location, you would need a car, but it was a lovely, peaceful setting with beautiful views from the bedroom window. The breakfast room was lined with books, and the delicious full English breakfast set us up for the day.
We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again.

Located and isolated on Lindesfarne island was a great experience. The hotel ticked all of the boxes for being comfortable, with a bar and food available. The breakfast was nice, The staff were very friendly and helpful. A quaint village surrounded by historical buildings, great walks and views, made for a memorable stay.
Location was very convenient for travelling to other villages. Loved sitting in the back garden, very relaxing. Neighbour was friendly and had a nice chat with her.

The property is 5 star. Very nicely appointed, spacious, walm, cosy, welcoming and peaceful. We had a wonderfully rejuvenating stay and will definitely be coming back. My daughter (8) was crying because she didnt want to leave. Location wise the village of Norham is idyllic, its a short walk (3 mins) from the majestic River Tweed, has lovely cosy Pubs, very freindly people, lots of History and a fanastic Castle.
Nice location, peaceful, view of sea from our room and from kitchen. Nice good sized bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely hot tub and nice pool and sauna. Short 20 minute walk into Berwick. Less than half an hour by car to Holy Island and within easy travel distance of many places and villages to visit although some places don't open until after Easter. Helpful hosts and helpful website. Would recommend.
Property is well situated for Northumbria Coast and Holy Island. The village is quiet and beautiful with good amenities and walks. The bed is really comfortable and the cottage makes good use of the space available.
This ia a truly excellent holiday home. John could not have done more to male us welcome - from meeting us on the street as we arrived through to a most comprehensive range of facilities indoors. No detail was spared! Anyone hoping to fly fish on the Tweed will find John a great guide. He is a gardener too and his enclosed garden and terrace is a delight for sitting or eating out in the sunshine and mediaeval Berwick town is all within a few minutes walk away.
