This property was perfect for us. Everything you could need had been thought of here, even cosy blankets and a bed for the dog! Arriving to home made cake was something else.. The property has beautiful views to the front and you can see bamford edge (on a clear day) from the kitchen. For walking the location was fabulous and with a bus stop outside you could get further afield on public transport if you needed. There is a washing machine in the property which was a real bonus for us after some muddy walks, and the pub is also just a short walk away.

Perfect spot for a cosy getaway. We don't have a car and we loved that we could get public transport as far as Hathersage and then just walk up the hill and feel like we were tucked away from everyone and everything. Comfy bed, hot shower, exactly what you need after a long day hiking or cycling. Really appreciated the washing machine as we got very muddy but an accompanying airer would have been good! The cows right outside the cottage were great entertainment but not so much when one of them bellowed through the whole last night of our stay.
