The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of places nearby to get an evening meal and we enjoyed an Indian meal in Bakewell and a pub meal at the Ashford Arms. We were meeting our daughter and the accommodation was perfect for catching up with family as there was a private sitting room. It was very quiet which was much appreciated.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. Gorgeous accommodation, just what was needed after a very long drive from North Wales. The suite had everything guests could possibly need and lovely little touches from the coffee pods to the robes. Outstanding cleanliness, quality of the furnishings and communication. a very lovely village with amazing views all around. We went on hour long walks, extremely dog friendly all around us. We didn't find the cottage at first, but Sue was very kind and helpful! The care package was so sweet, we enjoyed it very much. The cottage was so cosy and inviting. The kitchen was unbelievably well stocked so we could make anything and everything we desired! This was a great value for money in our opinion and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family and we ourselves will come back again :)

The location of the village is stunning with breathtaking views. Travelling by car to the centre of Bakewell only took less than 5 minutes which was great for us.
We had 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and bathroom. Free standing shower and separate bath. Location excellent for village. Any mobility issues you would need to drive in to the village as it’s up and downhill from hotel
Nice home with comfortable rooms and a living room with tv at guest’s disposal as well as drinks hot and cold at any hour. Good full english breakfast . Lizzie and Paul are very helpful and kind, full of good advises about places to go and pub to eat at.
Very close to wonderful and famous palaces (Chatsworth, to mention but one) and the amazing Peak District villages and paths.
It was like borrowing a holiday home from a friend, there is everything you need and so much more. The cottage is bigger than I expected from the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a proper dinner. The position is very good, five minutes walk from lovely cafes, shops and restaurants. We loved the board games, especially the Monopoly. Thank you very much for the amazing Christmas we had.
