Great location. Very comfortable. Everything we could have wanted was available.
A beautiful period property in the heart of the village of Allendale filled with charm, warmth and comfort. The interiors are as characterful as they are comfortable. The proprietress is fabulous and nothing is too much trouble.
Accomodation was right on the village square in easy walking distance of cafes, shops, and local walks. At the back there was a large private garden. Our host provided plenty of local history and information leaflets. He was very accessible, he responded straight away to a request we made.
Excellent location looking onto the main village square. Breakfast was superb. The house itself is quite grand but also very comfortable, relaxed and welcoming. Our room was really nice with beautiful windows looking onto extensive gardens. A lovely relaxing stay. Thanks
