Great location. Easy to walk into Stratford. Great rooms. Ours was ensuite. Great living area downstairs for socialising. Would be a fantastic place to stay with a larger group too. Great service, as we were able to check in early at no extra cost.

The Old Fourpenny Hotel, hotel in Alcester

Offering a bar and quiet street view, The Old Fourpenny Hotel is set in Warwick, 700 metres from Warwick Castle and 10 km from Walton Hall.

Great accommodation and pub with great options for food. So no need to go anywhere once you’re checked in. Which suited us as we flew long distances so jet lag was hitting us, no disruption that woke us even though we were in bed early. Breakfast included was great with lots of options. Place was very clean

Whitchurch Farm Guesthouse, hotel in Alcester

Situated in Alderminster and only 8.3 km from Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Whitchurch Farm Guesthouse features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

A warm welcome with a large bedroom and bathroom. It may not be for all, but we liked the fact that you help yourself to the buffet breakfast, which is presented on the landing. Each room has a lovely breakfast table ,with trays set out for each guest and breakfast is eaten at your bedroom table. It was a beautiful Autumnal morning, so we ate watching the sheep in the field opposite.

Woodlands 159, hotel in Alcester

Located in Pershore, in a historic building, 28 km from Coughton Court, Woodlands 159 is a bed and breakfast with a garden and shared lounge.

From our point of view Woodlands is perfectly positioned for our needs. It is beautifully and lovingly run by its owners: Julie and Mark, who are fully involved in Pershore life, and are therefore brilliantly positioned to help guests with all their needs and questions. Julie and Mark are friendly, kind, courteous and interested in their guests - the perfect hosts. The house is very well presented - comfortable, well maintained and immaculately clean - a pleasure to spend time in. We’re probably not the best people to judge the breakfast menu, as we don’t eat a cooked breakfast, but the range of options was extensive, and the simpler options we chose, including my husband’s porridge, which is always very much a question of individual preference, we thoroughly enjoyed. We are returning guests, and will be more than happy to visit again, as will members of our family, and friends, who are visiting the area.

I have stayed here before, it is perfectly adequate for a one night stay. Pleasant enough staff. Good cheap food. even good bread, nice and thick proper bloomer type rather than your usual thin sliced loaf. and portions are plentiful. There is pretty much everything you need. The shower was pleasantly straight forward and self explainetry, quick and easy to use, rather than wasting ages trying to figure it out. Close to convenience store and chip shop, and the lovely little village just a 5 minute walk if you have time to explore.

This place is lovely. Secure motorbike parking. Comfy seating area and kitchen area with everything required. The bedroom and bathroom was lovely and clean. The owners were really helpful and quick to respond. I couldn't have asked for more. Waitrose and village centre is a 2min walk away but the apt is secluded.
