A great place to spend a couple of nights. It really feels like a castle, although you rent just a part of it. Beds were comfy and rooms seriously large. Well equipped kitchen and I loved the outdoor terrace. The woods and the Seine just a short walk away are nice for some activity.

The hostess, Lorraine, was a delight. The house is a fairytale setting with a magnificent garden and lovely view across the lawn to the Seine and the village upriver. A thoroughly relaxing base for sightseeing in and around Fontainebleu.
