Everything about Le Puits de Garival is wonderful! The hosts, Nathalie and Mario, are delightful. They gave us a warm welcome and were extremely pleasant throughout our 2 day stay. The breakfast delivered by Nathalie each morning to our room was delicious. The room was spacious and had great amenities. We loved the presence of farm animals in the yard, including chickens, rabbits, goats, and horses. The heated swimming pool was a nice bonus and provided a pleasant place to relax. We loved sitting on the balconies, one of which is covered. The scenery observable from the apartment is beautiful. We would love to stay here again if fortunate enough to visit the area in the future.

Edwina and Thomas were wonderful hosts! Their children were an absolute delight and made our stay very memorable. Our rooms were very comfortable and roomy and the breakfast was always delicious! The grounds of the B & B were beautiful and so close to the action in St Cirq. We enjoyed out time in the area and hope to return one day soon. Just a beautiful spot!

So charming! That truly is the best word to describe this place, simply charming. The breakfast was amazing, with jams made on the property itself! Chickens, goats, and turkeys on the property as well. We didn’t get to use the pool because we arrived late, but I’m certain that also would’ve been lovely! A beautiful place to wake up to, and so close to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie! The owners also gave us great recommendations, and we went to L’oilo restaurant which has one of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. Spectacular!

The hosts are exceptional. Carol and Yann were very welcoming, and very helpful. They appear to have a largely self sufficient lifestyle which suits the vibe of the location. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Brian and Penni were fabulous hosts, making contact with us beforehand to make sure we knew how to get there! Loved the "extra mile " gracious hospitality. Home cooked meals were a highlight! ACCOMMODATION: Set at the beginning of a walk into the medieval village, the gite studio was modern, tastefully decorated and with most essentials provided. Excellent shower. Plenty of plugs. LAPOPIE: Magical! The steep walk through the village was barely noticeable as we just couldn't believe what we were seeing. I described it as like a scene from Disney but real! Medieval buildings housing quaint little shops, bars and restaurants. The narrow roads in-between were stone paved and very clean. Views from a ruin site were breathtaking, overlooking the rooftops, valley and river Lot. The riverside itself has a man-made small beach, part of a campsite, free parking. Safe bathing, recommend wearing swim shoes as river bed floor stoney. There is a small bar, pizzeria and music. Grassy area to sit and enjoy.

The stay was exceptional. We loved the view from the window, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. If the weather is good, you can have your breakfast outside with a view. The room was big and the bed comfortable.
