Beautiful location in a small and charming village in the Burgundy area. Jean Luc provided us a very warm welcome and help for a restaurant reservation. We (and our dog) had an immediate homely feeling. The breakfast next morning in the beautiful garden was a real treat. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and spacious.

La Grnde Grange is way out of villages, the road is small and the farm with the charming little house we were welcomed in by Aurelie, a warm, friendly and very relaxed host is very cute. The amenities were spotless and everywhere we looked there were charming little extras, we had a lovelyroom with two comfy beds, a bathroom and toilet, lots of space around and an excellent breakfast on top of all with a nice conversation. Michel was wonderful to interact with, and very accommodating. He was ideal in this respect. And his home is really unusual and special--full of character, and even mystery in how one approaches the front door (my children loved this). If you want something standardized and hotel-like, stay away; but if you want something memorable, that clearly is someone's home, and that is very well equipped (esp. with having 2 bathrooms), you'll be very happy you booked Michel's home. And the location is perfect for visiting the Guedelon castle reconstruction.
