The owner made me feel most welcome, even though my french is not so good we struck up a good conversation, much appreciated as travelling on my own. Its a lovely old house, the kitchen is beautifully modernised where you take breakfast. There is a restaurant very nearby

Late September arrival. Le Ressignol Gite. Hosts were wonderful. Fresh baked choc chip cookies & jam on arrival, a gastronomic delight. Our little well behaved poodle was allowed to roam free and had a delightful time trying to catch geckos scuttling about in the borders. Such a quiet tranquil oasis.
