The host was the best ever after many accommodations in France. I arrived with a broken peddle.. they took me to the nearest Decathalon outlet to purchase new.. The room was very with all of the facilities required. The gardens were expensive. The breeakfast was very good. I have never seen so many breads provided at breakfast.

A lovely room with huge shower space, looking out over a beautiful setting. Lorraine kept us well informed at all times, greeting us with a warm welcome and friendly dog, and in the morning presented us with a fabulous breakfast hamper.

Colin, the owner of this lovely guesthouse, was extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful for all things related to Dieppe! And his renovation of the villa is truly beautiful -- we had the room on the top floor with a kitchen area and all the amenities that you could want. The house is on a quiet residential street only a 10 minute walk from the station and the harbor/town, which was very sweet. Colin suggested a walking route through town and gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant on the water, which had the benefit of facing west for the sunset. All around a lovely stay!

Apartment is bright, modern and stylish. Fully equipped and clean kitchen. Hosts are super-friendly and easy to deal with. The location is superb, great view of the hills and only a relatively short walk to the beach. The owners are still putting on some finishing touches to the house but that did not disturb us at all.
James was an excellent host and when we had a situation with our rental car, he was good to converse with the car rental company in France and then also recommended a different car rental company in Dieppe for us to continue the rest of our holiday in France. His compassion for our situation and his help in problem solving was second to none. Having met at breakfast others who chose Villa Mon Repos as a repeat destination speaks volumes for James' care and attention to detail.
The property was situated a few minutes walk from the village centre. Was range of shops.
Breakfast has a variety of items and you have 4-5 hrs to enjoy.
Pool, hammad, sauna open all day. Pool good sized.
Most polite and friendly staff.
A lovely set up with large parking space.
Authentic French villa, beautifully restored and managed by a lovely host. James adds heart and personality that makes your stay memorable beyond words.
Location was interesting and rustic for a village centre
Breakfast was disappointing , having read the reviews
Whilst the house had character it also had a few areas that needed attention
Well what could we say about Villa Mon Repos?
From first meeting James the owner we were made to feel very welcome. He was happy to speak in very good English to us and we had some interesting conversations.
The villa is very quirky with an interesting history and absolutely full of artifacts.
Breakfast was eaten in the kitchen along with other guests and the food was excellent. Home made yogurt and jams, honey and marmalade. Croissants and baguette and bread made by James. We cannot fault this place
The villa is stunning inside and out. The rooms are beautifully decorated and there’s a peaceful seating area on the decking by the river. The host James is as funny as he is informative about the history of the place and the surroundings. I especially loved having breakfast (homemade bread, jam and yogurts) around a communal kitchen table in the villa. It’s a lovely way to start the day meeting the other guests and the host properly. There’s ample parking on the gravel drive . The gardens are lush too. This truly is a piece of paradise.
This was our 3rd visit to Villa min repos and we go back because its clean and chic and the welcome we get is just wonderful from James the owner. Its in an excellent location for the ferries and we feel so at home here.
