We were met by Jean-Claude who showed us around the whole property, explaining where things were located, how to use things and what they had left to be included (bottle of water, coffee pods etc.) Then showed us around the outdoor space and his to use the jacuzzi and introduced his dog Bella. Spoke amazing English and even communicated with the girls in so ISH when told they were studying that at school. Beds were so comfortable, rooms pitch black for sleep, air con/gams available

Romania
We were looking for a place close to Disneyland and all the action. What we found instead was an oasis of calm and peace, located in an authentic french village. From simple things like the sound of church bells, or a simple bread distribution machine, it's such a relaxing experience that makes you want to spend your time exploring around instead of all the crowded Disneyland experience. There's a beautiful feline park just 3 km south and the land of the monkeys next to it. There's also the Parrot World animal park around 15 km north. If you're looking for a convenience store, there's a Carrefour in Brie, 8 km to the south. Disneyland is a 20 minutes drive away and it's simple enough that you will be able to do it without GPS after the second time.
Touquin (Near Pézarches)
With free WiFi and a terrace, Le Gîte du Tau is 1 km from the centre of Touquin and 30 km from Disneyland Paris. Rooms and suites are individually decorated and offer garden views and a TV.

Breakfast was great and of course, typically French Gite-like. Fresh bread and croissants, cheese, ham, eggs, cereals, yoghurt, juice and nice coffee. The owners made me feel welcomed and the rear yard courtyard and garden was lovely in the morning sun. My room was great and the bathroom nicely appointed. The rural location was quiet and the Gite had electric gates to enclose the car park and front of the property. The next village had a pizza van parked for business Saturday night. The Gite’s location, being east outside of Paris, is off the D231, 20 minutes south from the A4 and the next Exit for Disneyland. 20 minutes further south from the Gite is the UNESCO Medieval Towne of Provins. 30 minutes Southwest is Blandy les Tours and its amazingly restored Castle. Both towns well worth a visit.
