The rooms are in an imposant building (small chateau) with large garden. It was for us a journey back to another century. The building is located in a natural sorroundings, there is no traffic, no noise only birds. Our room (we were 3 people and had the suite with 2 bedrooms) was very comfortable and very clean, large rooms with high ceiling, large bed with very good mattrasse. The bathroom is newly and modern equipped (with towels, soap, etc.). The breakfast was excellent with home-made and local products. Our host was friendly and very helpful (she quickly organized us a dinner, when we arrived late in the evening). We could safely park our car in the inside yard and store our bikes in a side building. We could relax and enjoy the evening in the beautiful garden. This accomodation has a special atmosphere which is worth to visit. We are looking forward to come back again.

This is what you need at the end of a long day. Super convenient for the tunnel and with a small kitchen we could go across the road to the supermarket and then make a nice meal. Big room which is great if your on a motorbike. Very clean and tidy. Good breakfast.

The property was beautiful! It was an old house which I believe is lived in by the host with a courtyard type area where the rooms are situated. The village was a really lovely representation of a quiet, French village. The room was tastefully decorated, clean and had all the amenities required (bathroom, mirror, desk, coffee and tea station, hairdryer etc). There was also a ‘common room’ type area with a table and chairs, some games and a kitchen we could use. We didn’t cook there so not sure about hob/ oven but it was good to prep food and wash up. There was also a fridge we could put out things in which was very useful! Our host was very flexible with our requirements. We had to leave early on both days, before the time she normally served breakfast in her own kitchen. However, she went out of her way and both mornings left some pastries, breads, condiments, fruit and cereal in the common room for us to help ourselves- we really appreciated it 😊 she was also always pottering round the property so if we had any issues (we didn’t!), she was on hand to sort it out! We didn’t have time to use the pool as we weren’t at the property for long, but it looked clean and refreshing!
