It was definitively a great and special experience! The kids were so exciteded. The parc was wonderful to play and relax, The rooms wonderfully decorated. The right mix of old and new! Gorgeous estate, super clean venue overall and room in particular, very well equipped (the building has a well-equipped kitchen at the ground floor which was particularly helpful when travelling with a toddler). It was the perfect getaway during the French heatwave (we booked the room "Charme" which was perfectly insulated and temperature didn't surpass 23 degrees). Needless to say, the pool was a huge plus. The hosts are lovely and we can definitely feel their passion for what they do and the hard wprk they put into renovating the farm 15 years back.

The location was perfect, in a very pretty, historic, rural part of France. The property itself is an old, nicely renovated farm which retains the charm of the old. It is in a lovely garden setting, very comfortable, and furnished with all you need, except, perhaps, for reliable wifi. It was patchy much of the time. Our only (small) disappointment was the breakfast - the croissants and bread were from the day before - inevitable in a remote area - and we would have loved to have some local fruit.

The apartment, a great space, loads to see in the locale and we aren't golf fans. Looking at the course I wish I was a golfer! The kitchen was well equipped, clean and easy to use. We used the apartment as a base for our travels in Bellême, walking through the town was excellent, the whole area is just beautiful!
