Most comfortable and largest bed ever. Marvellous big bedroom with great ensuite offering both shower and bath and balcony. Grand variety of drinks in the bar (especially the beer!). Super hearty breakfast. Large communal comfy sitting room with additional open verandah. Overall the whole ambiance and friendliness of Alex the host makes for a great stay.

It is a very quiet place and very nice friendly hosts. Around the forest, garden, lavender field. Refreshing swimming pool, although the water is not so clear because the water from the nearby lake is used. But clean.

We very much enjoyed our stay at La Maison Forte. Very beautiful surroundings and the peace and quiet are also notable. Even though it was raining quite a bit, the attentive host, Chiara, made sure that we could take a swim in the swimming pool when it was dry.

Everything was EXCEPTIONAL from arrival to leaving. The attention to detail, the owners couldn't do enough for us. Located in a village where a community has markets and events. We will be returning. It feels like we've made long term friends. EXCELLENT!
This place is more than just a B&B, facilities and gardens are beautiful with a swimming pool, small bar, and plenty of seating areas. The hosts Magali & Olivier are simply brilliant and would now consider them friends. The location is ideal your across the road from the medieval town of Issegiac and the Sunday market is excellent. 15-20 mins from airport. Within the village there probably 3-4 exceptional restaurants.
Great rooms - en-suites in all bedrooms and air con units throughout were appreciated. Period features combined with modern cons (including great washing machine and tumble dryer, large fridge freezer, microwave, oven and induction hob). Nice outdoor area with a shady terrace and balcony to eat dinner and breakfast. Large well equipped kitchen with sitting and dining areas. Large enough for 2 families. Lovely medieval village, with a great Sunday morning market and a night market on Thursdays.
Very well sited in the village with 5 minutes of shops and bar. Host very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely gardens and terraces to have breakfast on. Building was part of the walls and been renovated
The house was ideally located in the village and within a short walk of the shops, bars and restaurants. Parking nearby was good and although the house is adjacent to the village ring road there was very little noise. The property is well equipped and comfortable. Our hosts - Amanda and Adrian were very helpful when we had an internet problem and also gave us some good local information about the history of the area.
