What a delightfull place. Lady of the house Lee knows what is necassery for a relaxed stay. Breakfast, pool, rooms and atmosphere are all you need. Enough to do if you prefer daytrips. But also very pleasant for chilling and enjoying the tastefull dinners from Lee, Zula and Karen.

Location just off motorway, with parking, was ideal for me. The hosts were extraordinarily kind and friendly, the house interesting and comfortable. One point to note: the restaurant in the village seems to have shut, but there is a good supermarket.
A beautiful old Chateau set high up above the surrounding area. nice well kept gardens to relax in, great food and some nice rooms like the library to relax in. Full of charm and history with great staff who obviously love the place too. There is a tour for all guests. Fantastic that dogs are welcome and there’s a small pet shop in the village. We had a suite and our 4 year old slept so well in her separate room. The roll top bath was enormous!
This was the second time here and we enjoy a lot the view of the castle and how quiet the village is. Being inside such an old castle really gives a nice vibe. Also the room we were in was in one of the towers and that makes a very special experience.
