The location was perfect for our stop off on our trip, just off the main highway. The Family who run the B&B are extremely welcoming and friendly and they were particularly kind and helpful when one of our party had an injury and needed medical help. The breakfasts were lovely with lots of lovely homemade jams and fresh fruit. The highlight however was the evening meal with the family. My 2 daughters ate with the family and other guests and had a wonderful evening. Unfortunately we were at the hospital, but our meal was saved and served to us on our return despite it being late. I definitely recommend a stay here !

Lovely, newly renovated accommodation in very pretty grounds. The owner and staff are all delightful and helpful. It's well worth borrowing the boat or kayak to explore the river. The local town of Niort has an excellent market for fresh food and there are several places for day trips, including La Rochelle, the nearly canal network and Futuroscope. Beautifully designed, stylish and chic house in a quiet location, very comfortable for a family. I wish we stayed there longer. Gaelle is a fantastic host! we’ll be back one day!
