Peaceful location, beautiful farmhouse with a great ambience, seriously comfortable bed and an amazing host who spoiled us from arrival to departure. A wonderful supper cooked by Fred, including a selection of the finest local cheeses and a wine list to rival most restaurants at very reasonable prices, including several local champagnes, followed by a breakfast with a selection of about 20 home-made jams from his garden. Clean, bright and inviting and handy to a supermarket. We were able to park right at the door. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen facilities good.
Our host was lovely, welcomed us with a drink and snacks, we were so tired we joined her later and sat and chatted. Easy parking right outside so very secure. Wonderful place with parkland and a lake, so peaceful, lovely room with curtained bathroom and great breakfast with homemade jams etc. Off the beaten track in a small village so you really need a car, but easy reach of the main road.
