Vincent was a very helpful host and always available, but gave us total privacy. As for his home, it's a dream house! The old stone building is gorgeous and the location has a huge back yard looking into vineyards! The pool was the icing on the cake on hot sunny days. The entire home is a unique and beautiful French country experience. We plan to go back for a couple weeks next year as it was our favorite home on our whole trip through France!

Domaine Gille is a lovely three bedroom B/B between Beaune and Nuits St George. Our room (2nd floor) was spacious with upgraded electronic windows/shades and outlets. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom good sized with a jetted tub and shower. There was also hot water and an Nespresso in our room. The rooms were very quiet as we discovered - we could not hear the baby crying in the next room and they could not hear my husband's coughing. Breakfast was a tasty French breakfast with pastries, bread, juice, coffee, tea. We also had dinner in one evening cooked by Mathieu with Liz as his sous chef. Dinner was local dishes served with Domaine Gille's own wines. The house feels very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. I would highly recommend a stay in this lovely location.

The chateau is a wonderful place, a truly stunning building in an amazing setting. It is an experience that is unique in every way! We had a silver service breakfast served outside in the September sunshine followed by a tour of many of the rooms of the chateau. It is undergoing renovation currently but that doesn't detract from the incredible beauty and amazing collection of items of genuine historic interest in every room. We loved it!
