Our hosts were really warm, friendly and helpful, making phonecalls to arrange our covidtests and access to venues. Breakfast was extraordinary, providing everything you could ask for like fresh fruitsalad, a different kind of cake every day and more. There is a fridge that can be used by the guests, which is a big bonus for cooling water and drinks, evening meals are offered every second day and we'd recommend eating in, as Christina and Philippe prepare everything fresh out of local products. We also enjoyed lounging by the pool or reading our books in one of the quiet corners around the house. Also highly appreciated were the tea-and coffeemaking facilities in the room. Thank you again, Christina and Philippe, for your kindness and for making our holiday a special experience.

Carlux is a charming village in beautiful countryside, a great place to stay if you want calm and is close to Sarlat and Rocamadour. Our room had a lovely view over the countryside, it was comfortable and even though the day time temperature in the Dordogne had been in the late-30sC the evening cooled down and with a fan it was cool at night. Great to have breakfast included. Audrey and her mum were very helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here
