Free parking close by. Lovely continental breakfast. Super friendly hostess who spoke very good English! Beautiful view from the Green Bedroom. October is very quiet but a lovely Bar and ice cream tea room open during the day and just a short walk up towards the Chateau. Excellent views from the top of this most beautiful village. Chateau was still open, approx 5 Euro entrance fee. Host recommended a Pizza restaurant for our evening meal, a short walk down the hill which is excellent.
Very beautiful place and lots of village cats!

Spacious rooms / suites - comfortable, clean and connected to WiFi. Bathroom had large shower. Separate WC.
Breakfast sums up Fred & Bridgette's qualities as hosts - home made yoghurt, bread and pastries - choice of delicious jams. Quality coffee, tea, juices. Made to feel very special.
Location was excellent - though we had a hire car to get about. Visited beautiful hilltop villages, markets, bars, restaurants. Spent an evening in Albi - pop up communal food and bands. Listen to Fred - he knows all the best local attractions.
The dining area is al fresco, great for nature lovers (the hosts 'look after' a couple of cats who live in the surrounding woods and come to say hi now & again). Pool looks brand new, and is clean, comfortable and a good size.

Beautiful property and fantastic host. We couldn’t have been made more comfortable. Nothing was too much.
Situated in Cayriech, 33 km from Roucous Golf Course and 39 km from Montauban Train Station, La petite maison dans le Quercy offers an open-air bath and air conditioning.
The location was great, perfect for exploring beautiful Bruniquel. The staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and we were fortunate to have a balcony. The etape's own snack bar was unexpectedly good and very useful, as the village restaurants were out of high season. Breakfasts were basic but very adequate and the breakfast room had beautiful views. We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely area.
Perfect little getaway in a beautiful village, charming to walk around and 2 chateaux to visit.
L’étape du chateau was comfortable and had everything we needed. Friendly, helpful staff.
Delicious supper and continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
The owner/manager was really friendly and helpful. The room was bright, clean and comfortable with views over the hills. I recommend including the evening meal option - simple and made with local products - the restaurants in the village were all closed. Breakfast was ample.
