Le Clos de la Barre was perfect for our needs. Our family of 4 stayed in the loft and it was spacious, extremely clean, fully equipped with very comfortable beds. Parking is plentiful and very accessible directly in front of the inn. The couple who own the property are the warmest and friendliest people you’ll ever meet. Our continental breakfast was so beautifully prepared and presented. The location is perfect for exploring the D-Day beaches and memorials.

Thus, staying for a long time, there is always something to do! A very calm and quiet place to unwind in the evening in a peaceful and relax atmosphere. You can have a great sleep and recovery of the well-being. I can recommend very friendly owners, who provided help, advice and a great support! I would return again without any hesitation.

The house was excellent. We were travelling with two adults and four children. The property was very spacious for us and equipped with everything you need for a stay of several days. Unfortunately, we could only stay there for one night. The large garden with pool and swings was something the children could not miss. The spacious living room with attached kitchen was perfect for a leisurely breakfast after we visited the nearby seaside grocery shop (15 minutes away by car).

Jennine was a very helpful friendly host, and as we spoke very little French, she really tried her best with communicating in English. This gave us many laughs. We enjoyed the location, far enough away from the noise and just a 5 minute drive to a beach and a number of centres.

The apartment was comfortable and very clean and was equipped with everything our family needed. Sophie and Pascal were wonderful host that made us feel warm and welcome as well as we felt as if we had our own space and privacy. Private parking in their driveway was a plus.
