Beautiful property. Manolo checked me in and showed me the laundry room in case I had some Camino / pilgrim things that needed a refresh. The guesthouse grounds and interiors are nicely decorated, high quality finishes and made for a lush-comfortable stay right on the Way of St James. Clara was welcoming in the Resto-Bar. The food, beverages, selection, service and prices were excellent. I would come here for a weekend getaway and try to take advantage of the pool. It’s still winter so I just enjoyed the view.

When you’ve walked from Palas de Rei the location of this place is perfect as it’s on the way into the town. A lovely welcome from Gema, thank you. Mr Luis is a gentleman. He cleaned my shoes for me when I arrived and gave me newspaper to stuff into them to help dry them. He speaks no English but manages to communicate anyway. The room was perfect; warm and dry with a hot shower. We had evening meal in the Pensión next door, where we were also able to dry our clothes for €3.

We had an excellent stay here whilst walking the Camino. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower. Wonderful to have free use of the washing machine and plenty of room to dry clothes. Also the kitchen was great and so nice to be able to cook a meal for a change! Highly recommended.
