A true hidden gem! The 2 brothers who manage the place, Ahmed and Mahmoud, have been the kindest, most honest and welcoming people I've met in my 2 weeks in Egypt! The view from the rooftop is amazing and enjoying breakfast / sunsets there was wonderful! The location is peaceful and authentic, as everyone in the local community is friendly. This has become my go-to happy place whenever in Luxor :)

Location was so beautiful surrounded by nature, quiet, and amazing views of the best sunsets. The fresh home cooked meals straight from the farm were some of the best meals I’ve eaten. 1. Pick up/drop off and taxi service for the day to Valley of the Kings… by Ahmed is great. he is on time and polite, didn’t even expect tips when I gave him for his service 2. The apartment is big with beautiful bales view of Nile and East bank. wifi/air conditioning, hot water, fridge and kettle all works well. bed is comfortable and there were 2 bottles of water in the fridge 3. The pool and deck for relaxing is AMAZING after a hot day sightseeing. I love laying on the deck and look out the view 4. The rooftop for sunset and more panoramic view of the Nile is a must. I was out very early in the morning so didn’t see the sunrise but I am sure you can see the sunrise from the balcony as well 5. Since I was out before breakfast time, the brother of the owner( sorry I forgot his name) prepared me the breakfast box the night before so I can have something to eat which is very appreciated!! ( bread/jam/boiled eggs/bananas) 6. very relaxing and free from noises but birds chirping, wish I could stay one more day. 7. You can take tuk tuk or walk to downtown then either public ferry(5E£) or private boat to east bank( I didn’t take that but I think you can negotiate to 30-40E£) 8. Do your shopping ( drink/snack/fruit) in town if you don’t want to buy it in the hotel as I didn’t see any shops around the hotel. You can order food in the hotel I was told it’s good

My husband and I enjoyed very much our stay. We definitely recommend it to everyone. *The place has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. *They offer food from a close by restaurant and it is delicious. *The pool is well keep and it is great for relaxing. *The location is the perfect middle point to everything (Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens is 10-15 minutes drive. Within 15 minutes walk you get to the harbor where you can cross by boat directly to Luxor temple or Karnak Temple). We both felt extremely welcome. Mahmoud, Mohammed and Ibrahim were amazing hosts, they speak good English and are very kind. Casa Loko can also arrange different tours for you.

Oh. Everything. I like the staff the most, they are the best hosts ever. They always made us feel at home. We forgot our charger and they are willing to send it to Cairo. I mean simply amazing. A great apartment which can hold 6 people. Lovely balconies with a view of sugarcane field. Nice breakfast. There is also a common washing machine, which is very helpful.
