Large room with a very good bed. Friendly owners that do their best to make you feel welcome. The area is great for motorcycling and there are some nice walking trails that you can start from the hotel.

Everything has a price. Taking into account that the single rooms here are roughly 50 Euro per night the offered package is extremely good. A comfortable stay with a very nice view on the hills of Sauerland.

Breakfast was excellent and varied, full of local products and homemade jams. Drinks and juices are free but if you want anything fancy (espresso, cappucino, tea), you will have to add extra. The location was fabulous, a little gem amidst a "Heidi-worthy" landscape. Service (at reception, breakfast) was warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful weekend where pretty much everything around you is an invitation for hiking or biking.
