The apartment is large, cozy, very clean and fresh, prettily decorated and very well equipped. Beds are comfortable. It is prepared both for hot and chill weather. It is 3 minutes walk from a nice public beach at Schweriner See. It is a very quite residential area, no bars, pubs or shops except a restaurant at the camping nearby. The area is very calm. Real silence and darkness at night. The location is perfect for cycling, long Radstrecke around the Schweriner See with beautiful views. Schwerin is a nice town, the Palace, gardens and the old town are worth visiting. A trip to Wismar which is some 20 minutes drive is a MUST. One can also enjoy a sea beach in Zirow close to Wismar.

As bikers, each of us was welcome with a beer. That was super appreciated especially after a ride in the rain. We were also offered the parking under a roof. Staff very nice and kind. Quiet location very close to the lake. Basic rooms but clean and pretty large. Dinner was good and breakfast even better. The area is nice well worth a visit.
