This was a lovely self contained space underneath a family home. The kitchenette was small, but provided everything I needed for my stay, including a hob and a small fridge, as well as the toaster and kettle from the listing. It was an excellent location for going on walks around the area.

The apartment is well kept and maintained , super clean and organized. You have planty of room for 4-5 ppl , 2toilets , bathroom , well organised kitchen , all of these makes the vacation just perfect.
The apartment has good wifi coverage almost in every corner , lovely sunny countryside's views will welcome you every morning.
Pay attention that the apartment is on second floor so you need to carry your luggage carefully.
Although the apartment located close to train rails and small road , but the window are perfectly soundproofing so you simply hear nothing coming outside.
You have wonderful bakery 2min far away, supermarket and all you need in short driving distance.
The owners , Oscar and his daughter Katrin are so nice, and make your holiday calm and confidence. Oscar was super nice and provided my kids with snow sleds so they could enjoy the surprisingly falling snow.
I definitely recommend this place for family staying

We communicated with the host a couple of times prior to our arrival. We were hiking in the black forest and thus could not tell when we would arrive. The host was very understanding and as we approached Hinterzarten we briefly synced to arrange for check-in.

One of our amazing stays. Let's start with a location that is close to the attractions in the Black Forest. At first we planned to stay 6 nights and extended to 8 nights. We got apartment number 33, insanely comfortable, spectacular view, quiet, clean, new, kitchenette that has everything. The most important thing is the warm welcome of the whole team. Courteous and friendly staff, kind, and available. Highly recommend . Best stay I've ever had.

We were touring on a motorbike, so we only stayed 1 night. It had everything to relax. We ate in the restaurant, which was excellent. It also had a lovely beer garden to chill in. Breakfast was outstanding.
Setting was great for an evening walk around a beautiful village, surrounded by mountains.
Cute little hotel, for the price very good. The room was clean and friendly and we even had a balcony. The village center is only a few minutes walking. Breakfast had all the essentials and was good too. We had our dog with us and there is a great little walk directly on the other side of the street.
The place is located inside a beautiful village which is in the center of the black forest. It has everything you need for a calm vacation including a fully equipped kitchen , washer&dryer. The property had a lot of parking and even a gas grill. We stayed at the bottom floor so we had a piano in our apartment and an amazing garden outside
The owners were always nearby and took good care of us. We liked that the accommodation was a short walk to the village centre and the train station. It was quiet and near open fields and woods. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious (eggs, cheeses, cold meats, fresh bread, yoghurts, cereals, juices and coffee) and we always had more than enough to eat.
We had a wonderful, though short, stay. Location is perfect, few steps from the centre of the village. The house is truly beautiful. Our room was really comfortable, wonderfully decorated and clean, we also had a very nice balcony to enjoy the view of the forest. Breakfast was delicious, served in a superb room with a view of the garden, and some nice relaxing music playing. We have been warmly welcomed by the owner and had a really pleasant stay, and hope to come back for few more days.
A lovely view from the window. 15 minute downhill walk to the village for dinner either by road or one of the many footpaths surrounding the village. Quiet and peaceful.
