I really liked the overall design and the small elements related to yachts. I highly recommend this place. Palmeira is not Santa Maria, but the people are nice, like everywhere in CV. This was a late night, unexpected booking due to a delayed ferry. We were met by both the owner and the manager. The apartment is spacious, airy, very nicely decorated and super comfortable with great beds, and air con. Fully equipped kitchen and some very useful outside space. The owner, was super helpful, although I don't think he's there full time as he lives elsewhere. He was so very very kind by giving my husband some food. We'd asked if the apartment was free on the night of the day we were leaving just in case we were stuck with the unreliable ferries, unfortunately it wasn't, but he offered us a bed in his own apartment if we were stuck. Now this is kindness personified, however on Xmas Eve it took kindness to another level. It's what Christmas is really about, isn't it?

Nice clean apartment, in safe area. Internet connection worked perfectly throughout the apartment.. close to airport.. 10-15 min walk to centre.. host was lovely, made me feel welcomed.
