I was delighted with this place. Very charming, and you could not ask for a better location. It is located across from the church and the church bell tower. Only a very short walk to the town plaza and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful - even providing walking sticks which you just might need as the town itself is situated on many up and down hills. But those hills will afford you a very beautiful view of this extremely charming town. Be sure to visit the Posada's roof top viewing deck for a sunset view with the church bells ringing!

This is a beautiful property in a charming village. The only downside is the logistics of getting there (a 4 hour drive from the nearest airport). There are only 4 rooms and they are charming. The staff is wonderful and very attentive.
Our room was large and spacious with a huge balcony. The price was unbelievably low! The family who hosted our stay at the Posada, was wonderful. Everything was perfect. We are hikers and it is located along the Camino Real which is an amazing pathway weaving itself along the mountains. Be sure to visit the village of Guane and of course Barrichara along the route of the Camino. We both felt that this was the best stay of our trip to Colombia
Hands down one of the best places I stayed in Colombia. Everything about it is perfect, from the rooms and lobby area to the pool. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and quiet. The staff is very friendly. Barichara itself is a charming village with old colonial architecture, and the locals are incredibly welcoming and kind.
It's a small paradise just outside of Barichara, surrounded by luscious greenery and spectacular views. Very quiet and peaceful. A lovely terrace where you can sit and enjoy the views or a drink. There's a small pool if you feel like cooling off from the midday heat. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre of the village, but the views and the air are totally worth it. Very relaxing place
I most liked the kitchen/dining area with beautiful decorations, open space, a large table for people to get together - not only for the breakfast that is made with love and care (everyday you can choose) but also to work or write. There is plenty of tabes and chairs and a little living room with rocking chair and sofas.
It is very quiet and a few steps away from the spectacular view into The Valley- also the starting point of the walk to the village GUANE
Fantastic villa, we were very lucky and had the entire place to ourselves. Owner and staff were very friendly. Location was excellent and the villa itself was wonderful. So relaxing and well situated. Breakfast was delicious.

Loved the layout of the hotel - great view, very peaceful, and the staff was friendly. The location was at the edge of the village, and while that meant a bit of walk, it was not really a problem. I really enjoyed the pool as well.
Very big accommodations. The place is a bit far away from the historical center but the walk from the hotel to the village is nice and pleasant. To get back you can take a mototaxi.
