We had an awesome stay at the Jumanyuan House. Besides the breathtaking views you get on the only partially restored Great wall, the accommodation was really great! The host organised really everything for us - train connections, pick-ups and Co. He told us where to go best for sunset and sunrise, even told us to buy some snacks for our early hike and where to get them. His dad drove us around and his mom prepared a delicious dinner for us. We were really sad to leave after only 1 night. Thanks for everything!

A little piece of heaven, amazing setting with small front garden. Clean very new modern rooms that are well arranged and managed. Amazing shower, very good mattresses, small shared kitchen, living room and a great host that really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The breakfast was prepared with lots of love. Amazing location, super helpful staff went above and beyond for us, and we got a great traditional chinese dinner and a lovely european breakfast for a decent price. Amazing access to parts of the wall where you wont be drowning in a sea of tourists - we hardly met anyone while hiking it.
