The hotel is in good location within the ancient city and near to good little shops, restaurants and bars. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful making our stay pleasant. They also helped us pulling our heavy luggage using trolley between the taxi drop-off at the south gate and the hotel which is quite a distance.

The property was great, as is the location, but what won me over was the service - from before our stay (answering our queries on recommendations for photography studios), to during our stay (advising us on how to book our cable car rides for our day-trip to Yulong Mountain and preparing a take-away breakfast on our final day as we had to depart early in the morning), and after our stay (assisting with the collection of photos from the recommended photography studio) - I am impressed, and thankful.

Everything was perfect. This is an excellent boutique hotel in the middle of Lijiang's old town. The location is very convenient, near one of the gates, so you can arrive by taxi, but in the middle of the old town close to all the touristic places.
The hotel is very clean, peaceful and charming.
The host Annie was the best, speaks excellent English and can give you all the tips and recommendations. She was very kind and gave us a room upgrade, which was very nice!
Breakfast is good!
If you come to Lijian you should definitely stay here.

My friends and I were very well taken care of by the host. She kindly helped to link us up with a tour guide to arrange for a private day tour to 玉龙雪山, and ensured that all the necessities would be taken care of by the tour guide. As the place is hidden in the centre of Lijiang old town, she took time to give us an overview of the Lijiang old town and also shared how we could explore the town. The host also shared restaurants and places of interests that we would enjoy. The host also checked in on us to see how we are doing and helped to arrange for transport to and fro our accommodations to the railway station! My friends and I are really thankful for her hospitality :)

Merry is a very responsive host that tries to fulfil our travel requirements. She helped to arrange value for money airport transfers and local tours (we went fo a day tour Shangri-la and visit most tourist spots along the way). It is such an experience staying in a traditional village guesthouse which is next to Zhongyi market with more than 100 shops and stalls. Near to bus stop to places of interest. We took Bus #101 straight to Yulong Snow Mountain resort for RMB15 one-way and pay our own entrance fee, etc. Very very convenient..
Our stay was incredible. The people were so welcoming and friendly and spoke good englisch - perfect if you are new to china. They helped with trips and showed very nice local places. The Hotel is so nice – flowers, nice view and very quiet. The village and the nature is stunning, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The hostel owners are really welcoming and friendly. They took me to pick cherries and to great restaurants to have breakfast. They also have a cute dog in the yard. The breakfast and dinner are also available, it’s a good chance to make friends.
It’s a really international hostel(I was the only native Chinese visitor there). The hostel is located in a transitional village with a great location close to the Old Town.
Great Location, beautiful senary. I like the villa style room. If the weather is good, have a very good view of Yulong mountain. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small private door to the old town which is super convinient. The Chinese restaurant is very good and value the money.
The Bivou is a special place; the staff are kind, generous and incredibly helpful - they are always going above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. The kitchen offers delicious food and the location is pretty perfect situated on a quiet corner of Shuhe village.
The Baisha Village is a fantastic place to stay in Liliang. The hotel design is very unusual and authentic, super eco/handcrafted etc. Very peaceful, in a good location, very untypical.
The perfect place for a relaxed and quiet holiday, I already extended my stay 3 times,more than 1month. Beautifully designed architecture details, a very large courtyard, a spacious lobby where you can chill and even work, and a hidden yoga place. The staff and the owner are very friendly and kind, breakfast is excellent, good location near the north gate of the village and it can be accessed by car.
