The hotel staff (especially Alex) is over the top wonderful and guestcentric. Alex made our stay fabulous with all the great recommendations and her heartfelt kindness. The location of this hotel is such that we had a stunning view; our room with balcony faced the back of the property and had a surreal view of the valley below. Our room location was very quiet and the River below was the perfect sound that we slept peacefully each night. This is a great location if you enjoy hiking, biking, very active walking and skiing without feeling that you are overwhelmed by tourists (though I am a tourist:) in July. Breakfasts were lovely along with 24 hour hot tea and wonderful coffee options. A small but well equipped workout room was greatly appreciated though much of your exercise was is in the mountains. We did not use the sauna but I’m sure it was as wonderful as everything else. Great restaurant options within walking distance uphill towards a gorgeous waterfall.

It’s the best summer hotel ever It’s basic but when you are there it’s heaven Bed is super comfy The view on the balcony is right on a mountain river which is fantastic and you don’t hear any annoying sound . Only the river and mountains you see ! I was staying in a single room and I even continued my trip unfortunately for one day only because then it was fully booked ! No doubt it’s a gem Sonja is so nice host and their breakfast is yummy yummy Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place in summertime. I enjoyed my time very much, lots of options for hiking in the mountains, and the cable cars are close by. Very friendly owner who also gave me many good tips for the activities around the area. Good quality breakfast as well.
