The hosts are kind and helpful. They helped me find my wallet that I had lost on a hiking trail, they even went and picked it up for me from the person who had found it and had posted it online.
They gave us good suggestions for places to hike, and some very good restaurants.
The hostel is clean and comfortable.
The breakfast is delicious.

Barbara was such a fantastic host - responsive, sent us recommendations, helped us store our bags until we could check in, even brought a little apple tart up! The apartment is really lovely, with good kitchen facilities, comfy bed and easily controlled heating. The little touches make all the difference, with jams, butter, oil and salt already provided in the kitchen for example. We were really happy with everything!

The place is very clean and well equipped. Everything works well, stuff on reception is nice and very helpful.
Breakfast is delivered in the evening befor and is big enough to take away on a hike.
The place is located a bit outside of main streets, but the village is pretty small, so it's anyway like 15 min walk to the center and some hiking paths start right from your door.
The location was great. Walking distance to everything in the village. Parking was easy if you have a car; can park on their driveway space or on the gravel road. Bed was comfortable. Host was very attentive and nice. You can tell he wants customers to be comfortable and feel at home. After all, he is a family man.

Nothing. There’s a bed in the kitchen, a lot of things are not finished in the room (exposed electricity, boiler in the kitchen, open garbage). And the price was the same as the other amazing placed in the village.
The owner, Jose, is a very nice and helpful man, the apartment is very spacious, clean and on a perfect location close to both the Main Street of the village and the beginnings of the hiking trails!
It is at the end of the village and very quite. The room was quite big and you have underfloor heating. Room was quite clean and cleaned up very day. Breakfast at 7 am is also a good time. If you come 15 minutes earlier it was also no problem.
It was possible to exchange US-Dollars in Argentinian pesos to a reasonable exchange rate. By paying the room, they only charge the official Argentinian pesos rate, which cost less than the price in booking. Also very reasonable.
What a great place to stay! Very comfortable, new, clean apartment with everything you need. Right in the heart of the cute village of el Chaltén. Lots of tips from the friendly host at check-in. Check-out super easy. Nice breakfast provided daily. Thank you very much, we'd love to come back!

Close enough to the village centre with it's numerous, excellent restaurants & bars but far enough away to be quiet.
