Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services may be available -- a nautical getaway awaits.
The location was wonderful, the view out of the riverfront room was amazing with all of the ships, boats and ferries constantly going down the river. Staff was the friendliest of anywhere we've stayed before.
The front counter staff were very friendly and helpful. They could easily answer any questions I had about tours or places to eat. This hotel is right on the river and easy to walk out and walk to shops and restaurants. We had a room with a balcony that was great for just standing on, having a drink, and people/boat watch. Loved the old world look of the rooms since it was originally a cotton warehouse.
The view of the Savannah River and River Street was AMAZING. The staff was beyond courteous. It was so easy to ride the ferry boat over to River St. as it was running all day in 15-20 minute intervals.
Location was exceptional due to having a complete view of the river harbor and the convenience of traveling by boat or shuttle bus to downtown Savannah and shoreline shopping areas.
For the price, I expected a lot more. The room was ok, but but nothing special. The view is again ok, with a few boats passing by now and then. What really upsets me is that, in 2023, when even the lousiest motel provides free WiFi, this place charges extra. When you pay $300+ for one night, you should not need to dig into the fine print to find out that WiFi is not free.
Shame...
It’s a perfect blend of historical beauty and modern comforts! The location fronting on the Savannah River right in the middle of the Riverwalk is perfect. We could walk to a dozen restaurants, catch a paddle boat tour or trolley tour. We plan to stay here whenever we are in Savannah!
The property was amazing it was close to everything was a Starbucks across the street along with Ruth Chris beside it the only thing it’s valet parking which is fine but I didn’t no it’s $48 dollars a day that’s not on the website other than that it’s literally close to all museums shops the river boat is like right around the corner you get what you pay for it’s worth it !!!
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the location was on point. The hotel staff were friendly. Walking distance to everything Savannah has to offer. The river boat tour was very relaxing and the lunch buffet was good. Unfortunately the boat is docked while you're eating so you're really only cruising for approximately 30 minutes. We took a carriage ride one evening and that was a hit as well. We did not eat at the hotel but the restaurants we did eat at the food was good. We recommend staying at the Hyatt.
Room was very nice. It was nice that even with an atrium balcony you could still see outside. Enjoyed evenings just watching boats go by.
