Great Balcony overlooking the boat basin. Apartment had many extra amenities like two coffee pots, ice makers and good utensils. Everything in good working order and kept looking good. Many things a bit outdated but in good condition. Loved the trolly pick up to the beach and back. Our host have excellent communications and give a lot of information.
Leslie, the host, was helpful and responsive. We loved sitting out on the back deck enjoying sunrises and sunsets and even a dolphin passing by. The view is amazing! The bikes supplied were great - they were critical in getting to and from the boat from the parking lot. I liked the informative FAQ's regarding this property - a MUST READ if you are going to be staying here.
The space is very, very small. The bed in the back cannot sleep adults, we had to sleep on the couch/bed up front. There was a dampness to the whole area and a slight odor. The location was great, the view was beautiful, neighbors are friendly, but we were happy to not stay there more than one night as a sleeping arrangements were very uncomfortable. The toilet is small and hard to work. Will not sleep in a sailboat besides again.
Very tiny with smelly bathroom and not a good option for those who get sea sick— That being said, cute little boat, great location, and lots of fun! Definitely a unique experience! I’d recommend for single travelers or couples.
This Rustic old boating experience included a small kitchen and refrigerator. We were able to keep our leftover Cobb salads from Jane Bistro (in Shelter Cove) nice and fresh for the next day’s lunch.
