A great place to stay in a superb location. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Good car parking. Large room (Nightingale) which was great as we stayed six nights. They have a great chef although meals were pricey (but also pricey elsewhere. Moorings available for passing boats.

Loved our stay at Steam Packet In , from the spotlessly clean room to the excellent food (beetroot falafels & full English breakfast). Location perfect for a wander around town or riverside stroll/boat trip and the staff were all friendly & helpful….5*!

Check in was easy friendly and quick..Dinner was delicious ,staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Our huge room, The Nightingale, had a big window overlooking the river, with a wide windowsill you could sit in and watch the wildlife, boats, tides etc. The room had an enormous very comfy bed, as well as the usual tea/coffee making facilities A fully equipped very spacious bathroom with bath, shower and bidet.
