Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services may be available -- a nautical getaway awaits.
A great place to stay in a superb location. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Good car parking. Large room (Nightingale) which was great as we stayed six nights. They have a great chef although meals were pricey (but also pricey elsewhere. Moorings available for passing boats.
Loved our stay at Steam Packet In , from the spotlessly clean room to the excellent food (beetroot falafels & full English breakfast). Location perfect for a wander around town or riverside stroll/boat trip and the staff were all friendly & helpful….5*!
Check in was easy friendly and quick..Dinner was delicious ,staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient.
Our huge room, The Nightingale, had a big window overlooking the river, with a wide windowsill you could sit in and watch the wildlife, boats, tides etc. The room had an enormous very comfy bed, as well as the usual tea/coffee making facilities A fully equipped very spacious bathroom with bath, shower and bidet.
The location of this hotel is amazing, right on the river, so peaceful and beautiful views. Lovely to sit outside having something to eat or drink just watching the river and the boats. We actually stayed in two separate rooms on our stay and the first room was basic but clean and comfortable. Dog friendly so that was great for us
