The hotel is located in the old city centre of Montevideo almost on the main square, but also close to the main square of the modern city. It is a very convenient location to explore Montevideo. It is located in a historical building and overall it is nice even if it is not a luxury hotel. The room we stayed had a terrace with a nice view.

Great location. Close to everything you need yet still quiet place.
The location is unbeatable when you travel by bus, additionally, all main parts of the city are just a cheap cab ride away. rooms are spacious and well equipped, the hotel could use a renovation though. In total still a perfect place, quiet and safe. Staff was also very nice to lock up our luggage while we were still discovering the city.
Staff friendly and helpful, great location, fairly safe and quiet area, room had everything except no closet? a/c worked great, bathroom adequate although the shower could use a good scrubbing, fire alarm worked great when someone started a fire of some sort in their room in the middle of the night!! ay yi yi!!
