An amazing house with tons of charm. Our bedroom was huge with quality fittings. Downstairs there was 2 lounges and one library which would be great to socialise in if travelling as group with friends.

Alamoosook was remote and enclosed with private lake access. - The area was very quiet and great for good rest. - Room are clean - comfortable bed, pillows and sheets - Michelle and colleagues were very accomadating and friendly - Breakfast was amazing, Michelle has given us a lot of choices and we were extremely pleased with the food she made us.

Although location is a little out of town it is in walking distance and the walk is pleasant and interesting. Good after a meal! Room was good, king bed was comfortable. We were on the rear of the property - private and quiet. Bathroom had good walk in shower. Plenty of towels, etc. Breakfast was fine with some interesting options. Staff friendly.

The Inn on Mount Desert was a treat. I stayed there on Christmas Eve, and was able to walk the Coastal Path twice, and a short walk, about 2.5 blocks, brought me past two churches preparing for evening services, to a charming boutique, Sagegrass Gallery, that was open, and the town itself, with its window fronts so creatively adorned for the season. The room had everything designed for comfort, convenience, and cleanliness. I especially liked the modern bathroom heating. Breakfast was served restaurant style, and was also excellent.
Beautiful traditional Inn with a great location. The rooms are charming and come with all the toiletries you need. Breakfast is delicious and they provide home baked goodies each afternoon. The communal lounge is beautiful and has a communal TV too. Not forgetting Mike our host who was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

It was nestled in the woods, so quiet that I felt like I was alone on an island. The bed was comfortable with ample pillows available. Well supplied: microwave, fridge with a freezer, pots and pans for cooking on the stove top. Very clean outhouse and outside shower area. Cute, quaint, sweet and incredibly private. Loved it! Glamping at it's best.
Charming style, good old britisch. Great hosting. Enough private parking lots. Wifi works very good. Three Lobby rooms with chairs and sofas. Very interesting conversation with the hosts. Great Breakfast by 2 courses.
