The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the place was spacious and quiet, private parking with garage.
Probably the best hostel I've stayed in. It was on my cycle route and had awesome mountain views. Safe bike storage. Although there wasn't a kitchen, a kettle, microwave, cutlery and pottery were provided in the common room. Vending machines were on site, and bottled beer. I had a twin room booked , but as it was very quiet I should have gone for the cheaper bunk room option. Breakfast was continental, but plenty of it.
It was a privilege to have met the kind and attentive hosts and to have stayed in such a beautiful estate home. The large home was spread over 2 levels, each bedroom with its own ensuite, well appointed with everything we needed; full kitchen, modern TV and Wifi, and private outdoor spaces. The house was separate from the hosts' house, sharing a large, green estate with an inground pool. The location was idyllic, very quiet, set close to a small town, within 15mins of national park and Braga centre. Would return again in a heartbeat.
Penedino is in a great location especially if you want a quiet place to relax in the nature. The room and the kitchen are really well equipped, nothing was missing. The owner is really helpful and always available to provide suggestions on the best spots, hiking trails and food to enjoy Peneda area.
Fabulous hotel, great location, super clean and modern. I loved that tea, coffee, cake was availabpastries, (whic was nice mid afternoon and in the evening. Breakfast was very good with fresh baked breads and pasteries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese etc. The little balcony was fabulous to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This accommodation is great value for money. The rooms are comfortable and the property is spacious and beautiful. The pool is clean, quiet and warm. Fernanda is a great host. She does everything to give you the best holiday experience. There was a little problem with our room which she solved immediately. The breakfast is very good: fresh products and a lot of choice. Highly recommended.
A perfect place! One of the best stays we have had. Teresa was an exceptional host, the House has everything one needs and more. It is comfortable, incredibly clean, great area for a BBQ, a lovely pool in a quiet, private setting, close to all the hiking, biking, kayaking. We will definitely be back! If you have the opportunity to book this place you are in luck.

The room and the house it's in has everything you need! The room is spacious and stays cool when the temperature is very hot outside, and it has a private bathroom. The house has a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. It's located in a charming village, 1 minute away from Adega Regional Geira, the best spot to eat around there! Great hikes start near the house, to reach the amazing Homem river. I definitely recommend if you looking for peace and quiet!
