Had Standard and Superior Room, both very cosy and beautiful decorated! If you don't have a balcony, a little garden is available to enjoy a drink,. The "28" tram just in front of the main entrance, hopp in for a city tour which I highly recommend. Supermarket Lidl & Auchan to be reached within minutes. Lot's of nice restaurants, bakery, bars and shops near by. Super friendly and helpful staff, welcome coffee & drink at arrival. To the city center it takes approx 10 min by foot or take the metro (stations near).

At the guest house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Good facilities. Good location near airport and, at the same time, very quiet. Public transport takes you very fast to the center of the city. Public parking is not free, but is cheap and easy to pay and update. If you do not want to prepare it yourself, good breakfast is at 10' walking distance. Organization and the information provided by the manager is excellent and helps you a lot during your stay.

At the guest house, units include air conditioning and a TV. Amazing location, with the tram and most attractions and hot spots right on your doorstep. A short walk can get you to all the good tourist spots, and a huge bonus of having the tram stop right in front of the door! Surrounded by great little restaurants, with some good pastel de nata almost right downstairs ;) Excellent housekeeping, with the room always smelling fresh and clean, with crisp linen and fresh towels. The little touch and surprise with piano in the background while enjoying breakfast and a nice view on the plaza in the mornings.. that was my favorite part! For those who can, join the Fado night.. it’s something special. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Honestly worth every dollar, I spent a bit more than I usual would while travelling solo but i really felt like i got my money worth. The #1 standout about the trip was the staff, David, Gabriella & Rita (plus others who I didnt get names) were so welcoming & fun to talk to. Each one helped me in a different way & made my stay really nice. The rooms were very comfortable, i saw some negative reviews about hearing people walking around but honestly it wasnt bad. I am a very light & picky sleeper, my room was near the stairs & sometimes i heard people walk up but it wasnt disturbing. they also had a curtain that went across your door that muffled most hallway noise. Rooms were cleaned every afternoon which i LOVED. Felt good coming back to a nicely made bed after a long day. Good location, very easy to get to city & other places while being in a quiet neighborhood. would stay here again :)

The location was perfect - we were on the main street and everything was 5 min from us. The view from the room was amazing - towards the street and you could see the Arc of Rua Augusta and the Castel de Sao Jorge in the distance. The style of the room was interesting - it had vintage elements, combined with contemporary. The breakfast was very delicious and romantic - it was on the roof and there was a view towards the whole city. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Quiet, safe, and close to bus and metro stations to get to city centre. Around a 20 minute walk to the historic city centre. Lots of cafes and restaurants at walking distance nearby. The bed was clean and comfortable. I had the bottom bunk which had a curtain and felt very private; however, the top bunks do not have curtains. The environment was friendly. Quiet in the evenings.
The room is small, but enough space, clean and convenient for a solo traveler with all necessary furniture and equipment. The location is so good in the city center and convenient to reach out many attractions and the transportations. The staff was super friendly, nice and helpful. The bathrooms are enough for all guests, private and super clean. Cheap breakfast offered. Only 6 euros for a big portion and clean.

Great location. It takes only 15 minutes to get to the city center, but you will stay in quiet neighborhood. Comfort room, clean bathroom. Despite the number of rooms, we didn’t cross with anyone. Nice stuff, responds very quickly

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, very nice swimming pool big enough for actual swimming, sauna, some nice restaurants in the neighborhood as well (would recommend Pomme Eatery !!). We stayed at the standard room which was big enough, lot's of space to put everything aside. Would recommend this hotel!!
What a lovely surprise! Janelas Verdes is a slightly old-fashioned but very charming small boutique hotel. The service was great, and the hotel felt like a luxury home. The courtyard is picturesque, and we loved the honesty bar system and availability of coffee in various places. The rooftop veranda and library are gorgeous areas too. Wonderful breakfast selection too. Secure underground parking is limited, but available and comes at a charge.
Great location, about 10 - 15 minutes from the city center, near the tram, bus, metro, train stations. Our room was small, but comfortable with a private bathroom. If you are a tourist like we are, you won't need anything more than a good bed and a shower after a long walk through Lisbon.

Good choice at breakfast. Quaint craft shops and local restaurants nearby. Average taxi/Uber price into Bairro Alto or Chiado around €6. Overall a pleasant stay.
